Gourmet steak house

Almost all wines go perfectly with a good steak, so when I made this selection nothing was ruled out. I have listed them by style of wine as I thought this would be more helpful than, say, country or grape variety. 'Light', 'medium' or 'rich', in this context refers more to the feel of the wine in your mouth than the alcohol content, and is designed to help you choose a wine to suit a particular dish or our mood.

I hope this guide is useful to steer you in the right direction. You'll notice that some wines are marked with the MW symbol. These are my particular favourites; interesting or exciting discoveries that offer supreme value for the quality of the wine.
